Cancellation & Refund Policy
Clear, reassuring terms for our 4-night Shipibo ceremony immersion — because your spot is never lost.

We want you to reserve your place with confidence. Life shifts, plans change, and our screening process exists to protect you — so we've built this policy to be as forgiving as we can make it. The short version: your spot is fully transferable, and if our screening determines that ceremony isn't right for you, your payment comes back to you. The full terms are below.
1. Your spot is transferable
Your place in a ceremony immersion is fully transferable. If your plans change, you may move your spot to:
- A different retreat date — if your plans change and you can't attend the date you reserved, simply choose another, subject to availability; or
- Another person — you may pass your spot to someone else who is sincerely called to this path (see Section 2 for the screening requirement).
Think of transferability as a feature, not a restriction: between a change of date and a change of person, your spot is never lost — it simply waits, or moves, until you're ready to use it.
2. Transferring to another person — screening still applies
Anyone who receives a transferred spot must complete and pass the same intake and contraindication screening that every participant completes. This is a sacred duty of care, and it cannot be waived — the screening protects each person who sits in ceremony.
If the person you'd like to transfer your spot to does not pass screening:
- The spot is not refunded on the basis of that person's screening outcome; but
- You still hold your transfer right — you may transfer the spot to a different qualified person, or move it to another retreat date for yourself, exactly as described in Section 1.
Your place is never lost. You may adjust as many times as you need — to a new date or a new person — until you're able to take part.
3. If our screening determines this path isn't right for you
If our screening process determines that participation in ceremony is not the right path for you, your full payment is returned to you.
This is a full refund — we absorb the payment-processing fees ourselves, so nothing is deducted — issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. You are never penalized for being screened out; this is the outcome of our care for your safety, not a cancellation on your part.
4. Cancelling for any other reason
If you choose to cancel for any reason other than a screening disqualification, your payment is not refundable. But your spot is never lost: your full transfer rights from Section 1 still apply, so you can move your place to another date or pass it to another qualified person — whenever you're ready.
5. If Earth Connection Community cancels or reschedules
In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a ceremony immersion, you choose what happens next: a full refund of your payment, or a transfer to a future retreat date at no additional payment. Whichever you prefer — the choice is entirely yours.
6. How refunds are processed
Where a refund applies under this policy, it is issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Refunds issued because our screening determined ceremony isn't the right path for you (Section 3), or because we cancel or reschedule a retreat (Section 5), are returned to you in full, with no deduction.
